There is no mandatory waiting period for firearm transfers in Arizona once the background check clears. The process typically completes within minutes to hours, depending on system volume.

Required documentation includes a valid Arizona driver’s license or state ID with your current address. If your ID shows an old address, bring supplemental proof of residency like a vehicle registration or utility bill. We’ll also need to complete ATF Form 4473, which we provide and guide you through at our Tucson location.
