This Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger Kit is a drop-in upgrade that swaps out that factory hinged trigger for a solid aluminum body with a center-mounted pivoting safety. You get a shorter, more consistent pull—about 1-2 pounds lighter—and roughly 20% less pre-travel and over-travel. The reset is cleaner, more tactile, and that matters when you’re running drills out here in the desert heat or carrying on a daily basis.
Apex built this for duty and everyday carry. It keeps all the factory safety functions intact, so there’s no compromise on reliability. Installation is straightforward for a competent armorer, but we strongly recommend having a gunsmith handle the Ultimate Striker Block install into the slide. It’s a small step that makes a big difference in performance.
